Can't find a troll when you need one
| ||
|
I wouldn't say that I'm a troll but there have been a few times here what I posted something that I thought was funny and harmless and the person who's blog it was got very upset . So I learned just not to comment anything beyond the innocuous "good post" or whatnot . So I think some trolling is unintentional . Some of it is people who have realized the absurdity of the internet . Some people will say they troll because they tried to engage with people seriously online and “slowly realized that it was such a futile effort to try to have a rational discourse ." So they try to be as irrational as possible to make a point . But I would wager most of it is the attention piece - if you say something horrible to someone they usually respond to you whereas if you just say "hey nice job" usually you get nothing back . Twitter is a good example , if you go and see a Five Finger Death Punch show and then you tweet at them how great it was and how much you loved it you probably won't get a like or a response or any acknowledgement . But if you tweet at the lead singer that the show was garbage and your dog could put on a better concert there's a good chance he'll tweet back that you're a piece of shit . Which is interaction . And as any school teacher knows , some people just need attention and they're going to get it one way or the other . Putting clients first by putting employees first, immediately after prioritizing fiscal responsibilities and leveraging profitability towards exceeding by empowering our employees to put clients (and themselves) first, in a diverse and respectful environment of only those that come first, first.

I've read a few 'troll' related posts lately. They seem to be coming out from under their rocks again.

Not a troll, never behaved like a troll, and will never act like one (hopefully). I can't understand why anyone would bother and what sort of (sick) enjoyment they derive from their behaviour. Funnily enough I suppose that no out-and-out trolls have visited this post and commented. Maybe they have learnt to stay away.
