Skittish And Receptive. A Poem I am skittish. I am hesitant. I am fearful. About what You can guess Yup. It's rejection. There are some Who would give advice "What have I got to lose?" Would be an utterance Along with "You will never know Unless you try." I take this in And may take action. It's all about my confidence As well as gumption. We would all like to know if someone will be receptive to our advances. You can always lessen the chances of rejection by trying to establish a rapport before you meet. Being turned down is a dent to the ego but is not the end of the world. This is a lesson I learned the hard way. Many times!!!

I obviously have piles of advice to unload on you. The great majority never used by myself. I simply wish you the best with being skittish, because, surely, even being a little skittish means there is, or might be, something there, worth getting disappointed about if rejection occurred.
